Description
A Willy Rizzo for Sabot floating square coffee table in burl wood and lacquer with chrome trim with smoked glass inset top. The sides slide open to reveal storage, originally used for a bar. The corners are stained for a checkerboard motif. Very chic and glamourous, highly indicative of Willy Rizzo's Italian 1970's high design.

Documentation: Ample Provenance Origin: Italy Period: 1950-1979 Materials: Burl, Lacquer, Laminate, Smoked Glass Condition: Good. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Burl wood and lacquer surface newly refinished in our professional studio. There is an old chip to the glass on one side on the underside: smooth to the touch and difficult to discern with the smoked glass.
