Enamel and synthetic spinel brooch, 'Place Vendôme', Mauboussin, circa 1951
Designed as a wall-mounted lantern set with calibré-cut sections of synthetic blue spinel, with a street sign reading 'Place Vendôme' in blue and white enamel, signed Mauboussin, numbered, French assay marks and maker's marks
in ready to wear condition
size is approximately 1 ½ inch long
