Composed of 18K gold, this longchain necklace dating from 1880-1890 was created in France. It is designed as a series of elongated shaped and notched links with stylized lily motifs and enhanced by interior wirework edging, all joined by small circular trace links and punctuated at intervals by white pearls. This intricate and beautiful handmade French chain may be transformed easily as double or triple strands to meet varying necklines and styles, from casual to glamorous.
