Description
Done on assignment for Life Magazine, It was photographed outside Tampico Mexico. Elephants were transported to Mexico for rehab after stomping to death their trainer in Oregon. The photographer and his assistant are lying at the feet of both elephants to get this unique extreme close up upward view. There is no digital manipulation in this work.
