Todd M. Casey

American, 1979
Todd M. Casey is an American painter known for his still life and landscape paintings. He is particularly recognized for his mastery of traditional painting techniques, including the use of light and shadow, color harmony, and precise brushwork.

Casey was born in Massachusetts in 1980 and grew up in New Hampshire. He received his BFA from the University of Hartford's Hartford Art School in Connecticut and went on to study at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.

Casey's paintings often depict everyday objects and scenes, such as fruit, flowers, and landscapes, rendered in a realistic yet poetic style. He works primarily in oil paint and creates a sense of depth and luminosity through the use of layers and glazes.

Casey's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the United States and Europe, and he has won numerous awards for his paintings, including the William F. Draper Grand Prize at the Portrait Society of America's International Portrait Competition. He is also a sought-after instructor and has taught at several art schools and workshops around the world.
