Description
A fantastic sculpted bronze coffee table by Paul Evans for Directional, circa 1973, signed and dated. The table belongs to the sculpted bronze series, one of the most desirable series by Paul Evans that was inspired by the skyline in New York City. In the "Brutalist" taste, the bronze resin was cold sprayed on the constructed wood blocks and further sculpted by hand. Signature PE and production year 73 were sculpted on the bronzed surface. The base itself is 15.5 x 47 x 29 and it currently support a glass top of 36 by 54 but a larger glass can be used if desired.
