    Pair of carved giltwood mirrors refined with precious tortoiseshell rectangular plate scrolled acanthus leaf cresting, architectural elements, winged putti and scrolled flowerheads centered by his original mirrors.

    Central Italy, period second half of the 17th century.
    Measures: 160 cm X 130 .
    These specimens are described in G.Child, World Mirrors 1650-1900, London 1990, p.258 and p.260.e in G. Sabatelli, frame by Italian Renaissance alNeoclassico, Milan. 1992 p.69.
