A fantastic high-tech product. Comfortable as an embrace, with enveloping and unstructured shapes, characterized by bright coverings in soft tones. Presented in 2007 by Meritalia, the Shadow armchair is made in a truly innovative way. The structure is obtained by injection of liquid polyurethane in a lining already coupled with fabric. Meeting the shape of a body, the material solidifies creating an indelible mark. A shadow imprinted on the material, which becomes padding and support at the same time. In this imprinting operation, the fabric always behaves differently, creating folds and movements that are always unrepeatable. A fun and unconventional furniture: for the bright colors, for the effect of surprising softness, for the freedom of the seat. Project curated by Gaetano Pesce, who does not deny his taste for experimenting with new forms, techniques and materials
