Exquisite French Charles X-Ormolu and jeweled bronze chinoiserie figural table clock, early 19th century.
Depicting a seated Chinese woman holding a jeweled mirror in one hand and her hat in another hand, dressed in her elaborate garments,. The clock case very elaborately decorated.
Very high quality ormolu. Very fine chasing. Fully detailed masterpiece.
Good condition, normal wear consistent with age and use. The clock is not running.
Measures: 16" high x 12" wide x 4.5" deep. -
