Contemporary "Ella" Chair with Armrest by Brazilian Designer Henrique Canelas in wood, 2016
This sculptural chair designed by Brazilian designer Henrique Canelas consists of a structure in solid wood with ribbed seat and backrest. It is produced with fine woodworking techniques that don't require the use of nails and screws. Carbon steel bars in the backrest enable its flowing organic lines to be flexible and comfortable.
The armchair is finished in tung oil with carnauba wax, which results in a beautiful satin texture surface that is waterproof and protected against scratches.
Completed in December 2016. This piece is the designer's PA and there will be a limited edition of 100 units, all numbered - (time for production of the piece is 5 weeks).
