Taisho period screen (1912 - 1920) of gold pine trees on a shore line showing a gold beach and distant silver waves with silver dust sea spray in a gold sky. Beautiful and elegant, but very subtle and difficult to read in photographs. To view this screen, please make an appointment to view in person. Gold leaf, silver and gold dust mulberry paper.
