    Daum Frères, Nancy "Vigne à L'automne, escargot", "Fall vine and snails" lamp base, designed by Henry Berge.

    Cased glass, yellow and blue powder inclusions, red, deep blue, brown and green cameo. Multi carved patterns of autumn vine, eight cabochons grapes, two applied snails slithering along a leaf.

    All worked by wheel cutting with some luster in places.

    The base is signed Daum Nancy with cross of Lorraine the top has a metal collar (2 inch diameter), very beautiful example of the great work of the Daum Frères in Nancy.
