19th Century Seaman's Chest

    Good 19th century sailor's chest in richly patinated teak, the top opening to reveal a candle till with lid which functions as a support for the open lid, over canted carcass, the corners reinforced with metal plates and dovetail construction, having original carrying handles and retaining original owner's initials "FHB." Great as coffee table or toy/blanket chest at end of a bed.
