Description
A very elegant vintage Italian 5-drawer desk in ashwood designed by Pier Luigi Colli (Torino), quality details of execution with curved edge drawer fronts decorated in clear straw and darker light brown veneers with inlaid lines to create a decorative pattern. This piece is highlighted and made functional by an ivory glass top to match the white cream lacquered interior of the drawers, and also finished at the back so that it can be displayed away from the walls or in the middle of a room, with a veneered middle recess for comfortable seating. Every tapered leg has a shaped brass boot. Original concave brass handles. Great also as a vanity desk or a console.
