Description
Rare Tunbridge Ware inlaid rosewood and specimen woods jewelry box with decoration on all sides. The doors and top have rectangular rosewood panels enclosing an eight-pointed star, the hinged top opens to reveal a tray with twelve wooden divisions having the original blue sugar paper lining, the inlaid doors open to reveal two short over two long rosewood drawers outlined with satinwood stringing and having tiny satinwood knobs, the interior of the doors is bordered with a small inlaid cross pattern. The whole supported by very small brass ball and claw feet.
