Description
Rene Lalique clear & frosted glass 'Pintade' car mascot. This model features a grazing guinea fowl bird. The bird is mounted onto a rectangular, black glass base. Moulded maker's mark in front of bird's right foot, 'R LALIQUE' and 'FRANCE' on opposite side. Wheel cut maker's mark under the tail, 'R LALIQUE FRANCE'. Stenciled makers mark for the front of the black base, 'R LALIQUE FRANCE'. Book reference: Marcilhac 1164.

Two tiny nicks on the upper edge of the black glass base. Some dirt trapped inbetween the glass base and the metal mount.
