Description
Venetian Christmas tree sculpture of organic sleek Minimalist design, in mouth blown Murano glass and handcrafted, part of a vintage collection assembled by Cosulich Interiors & Antiques signed by Cenedese. Worked in Sommerso with a crystal clear layer of glass-molded and blown from a pointed top to a branched out design which from the top resembles a lucky four-leaf clover encasing an attractive pure 24-karat gold dust cone with vibrant green color swirls to give movement and texture to the multi-dimensional shape. The multifaceted sculpture adds to the reflections and is raised on a round solid glass base. Sommerso, which in Italian literally means “submerged”, is a technique used to create several layers of glass (usually with different contrasting colors) inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colors that lay on top of each other without mixing. Other similar pieces are available in different colors.
