  • Description
    Walnut desk by renowned painter and sculptor, Richard Artschwager, who in 1953 designed a small collection of furniture in New York City. These pieces are scarce, as production and scope of design were exceedingly limited.
    This desk is composed of two drawers to the left side (one shallow and one double drawer) and three to the right. Finished by lathed, deeply sculpted pulls (one of two examples of drawer pull Artschwager designed).
    Conservatively refinished condition; light wear remains (few surface scuffs). Overall, very nice, vintage condition.

    The open space between the drawers measures: H: 28" x L: 20.25"
    Bottom left double drawer: H: 8.5" x D: 15" x L: 14.25"
    Top left drawer: H: 2.5" x D: 15" x L: 14.25"
    Both bottom right drawers: H: 5" x D: 15" x L: 14.25"
    Top right drawer: H: 2.5" x D: 15" x L: 14.25".
