Antique Gothic Revival harp by Erard
French, c. 1840
Height 178cm, width 54cm, depth 91cm
Of typical form by the famed instrument maker Érard. With gilt highlights and set on four short feet, the front two as seated tigers. Decorated with gothic style motifs in the form of arches and religious figures playing musical instruments. The frame signed 'ERARD / 13, Rue du Mail / PARIS'.
