Description
Minton Majolica oyster plate which features six shell shaped wells with seashell surrounds. Malachite ground version. Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1323'. English diamond registration mark for the date 25/11/1870. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.
