Fine Campaign Folding Table in Teak
-
Description
A practical and beautifully constructed folding table in teak with iron mounts and English brass hinges.
Almost certainly made in India and commissioned by a colonial patron this is a design we have not see before, but is easily portable and multi-functional. Notably, although the folding mechanism is entirely in iron-work the hinges are high quality English brass probably from Birmingham.
It is an interesting piece that would fit well in a minimalist setting today. -
