This biomorphic sculpture piece has pearlized iridescent glaze in black and cream. The form and glaze was made by Camillo Luzzo in Italy between 1950 and 1960, he has one of the first to create this new idea in glaze and modernist form.
Camillo Lusso designs are documented in a book "Eccentricity Arti Applicate a Torino 1945-1968" by Enzo Biffi Gentili, Francesca Comisso, Luisa Perlo, page 110.
