Description
Two unique hand crafted clay bowls created by Dolores Porras. Polychrome glazed bas-relief each depicting mermaid with a nose and breast in high relief, the hands spread out next to the flowing hair, the tail bent next to the body, signed on the underside. Born in 1937 she began creating pottery at age 13 and continued to her passing in 2010. This piece has an estimated creation date on the 1970’s.
