Pair of 1950s Diablo sconces by Giuseppe Ostuni for O-Luce Executed in black painted metal and brass. A sculptural and refined wall lamp reminiscent of a contemporary midcentury Stilnovo design, the shade rotates freely on the trademark Oluce designed brass 'lipstick' swiveling double ball joint.
O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their exceptionally refined designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor. Accommodates 1x standard US candelabra base 60w equivalent bulb. Rewired for US with custom fabricated brass backplate for mounting over a standard American j-box. Some patina, scrapes, scuffs, and bends.
