Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen "Ax" Lounge Chair for Fritz Hansen
-
Description
A striking chair designed by architects Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in collaboration with the famous artisan company Fritz Hansen in Denmark circa 1960s. Our chair uses quality laminated beechwood and studio craft techniques, including laminated bentwood curvilinear arms and beautifully exposed teak contrast on its sculpted legs. The upholstery features a soft muted grey tweed with a new high-density foam, while the curved backrest and descending arms hug your body for optimum lumbar support to create the most comfortable seating experience. Our chair has been meticulously restored by our expert craftsmen, keeping the two Fritz Hansen labels underside and remaining true to the original design with all aesthetic components intact.
