Description
Very rare if not unique cabinet designed by Axel Einar Hjorth, model "Lion". Circa 1933. Stained birch. Rich decorated hand carved doors panels. Original finish. Marked underneath with pencil on Swedish "Cabinet Lion". Designer authenticity was proved by Thomas Ekstrom, co-author of the book "Axel Einar Hjorth Mobelarkitekt" by Bokforlaget Signum, Stockholm 2009.
