Pair of small blue black lacquer and brass cabinets by J.C. Mahey 1970s
-
Description
These twin cabinets in a beautiful blue and black lacquer could serve as sturdy end tables in a living room or office, or as spacious nightstands in a bedroom. The crisp mix of blue and black lacquer has an incredibly strong, visual impact while the brass details blend into the lacquer almost seamlessly. Designed by Jean-Claude Mahey for Roche Bobois in the 1970’s, these cabinets are typical of the French designer. Fully restored, and relacquered, the pieces are in a great vintage condition.
