The trail of a comet across the heavens appears like a measured, graceful arch. Distance is deceptive. Objects that survive the inferno that comes from hurtling through Earth’s atmosphere bring incredible force, leaving their imprint wherever they land. Studio Greytak’s Impact Wall Mount captures that force. A cluster of Himalayan quartz stretches like a winged courier pulling at the cast aluminum surrounding it. Known as the stone of enlightenment, the quarts stands in silent witness to the impact of the heavens here on earth.
