Italian Vintage Barovier Toso Crystal Textured Murano Glass Satin Silver Sconces

$ 6,250
  • Description
    An extraordinary Venetian organic sculpture pair of crystal clear Murano glass modern wall lights by Barovier Toso, with a cone shape, realized using the Rostrato technique that Barovier Toso revived with exceptional skill and success, as demonstrated in these pieces where the quality of the thick glass and the execution of work are excellent. The Rostrato technique entails the Maestro pulling out of the heated glass extruded pointed tips with pliers, creating an exceptional 3D texture on the outside and a mesmerizing pattern on the inside. This particular decor shows off the caliber of craftsmanship as the Maestro needs to be very precise and quick in his work. Mounted on a hand-made metal plate with an anodized satin silver finish. Excellent condition for their age.
