Set of Four Framed Chinese Silk Flower and Bird Paintings

Description
A set of four Chinese silk paintings, beautifully presented in matching gilt and burl wood frames with brocade borders. The subject of this lovely group is called "Flower-Bird", one of the most favored by Chinese artists. The poetic composition, meticulous brush strokes and delicate color pallet were characteristic style of the work from Song and Ming dynasty. Many seals were found on these pieces as well that indicate several famous collectors and studios in Ming and Qing dynasty. However, these painting were revival of the period style and appear to be from mid-late 20th century. There were beautifully framed in the chinoiserie style and make stylish decorative pieces for an interior with Asian ambience.
