Sandra Lerner, a renowned artist, resides and creates in both New York and Connecticut. Her artistic journey began with a bachelor's degree in art from Hofstra University, followed by enriching mentorships with acclaimed artists like Leo Manso, Jerry Okomoto, and Harry Sternberg. She further honed her craft in calligraphy under the tutelage of the esteemed master Kampo Harada in Kyoto, Japan.
 
Lerner's art has graced numerous solo and group exhibitions across the United States and Japan, showcasing her profound talent and unique vision. Her works adorn prestigious public and private collections, including those at Harvard University, the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, the Heckscher Museum, the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, the Kampo Museum in Kyoto, the World Study Museum in Fukuoka, as well as corporate collections such as Price Waterhouse and 3M Corporation.
 
Notably, Lerner's creativity extends beyond traditional art forms; she has also designed sets for performances by Eiko and Koma, the renowned Japanese dancers and performers.
