A pair of Dutch prototype lounge chairs by Dutch engineer and architect Ir. J.G. Athmer. The chairs stand on a metal frame and have a fabric upholstery, one in red and one black.
The measurements stated are of the red chair. The chairs are part of a full series of chairs Athmer developed. He offered his designs and production process to Wagemans & Van Tuinen (now Artifort). They come with extensive documentation and correspondence, which is historic material and very educational research material on both the processes and communications at the time. -
