A vintage Persian Malayer rug. Millions of closely set charcoal floriated small botehs reverse orientation row by row on the red-brown ground of this western Persian village scatter of unusual dimensions. The narrow ivory border has a clover leaf pattern and the other, in charcoal, has a simple palmette tendril.
