1950s Counter-weight pendant attributed to Gaetano Sciolari for Stilnovo. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in green painted metal and brass. Height can be adjusted by raising or lowering the counter weight. A highly functional and sculptural suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Shade is 13 inches wide
Shade height including brass handle is 8 inches
Accommodates 1x medium base 100 watt equivalent bulb (lower with incandescent). Some age appropriate wear including losses, patination, bends and scuffs as largely shown in photos and noted only for accuracy. Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Please note some variation between the green on the counterweight and the canopy from shade of lamp.
