Stunning 1930s Charles Dudouyt brutalist sideboard

Sold Sold
  • Description
Created in solid dark-stained oakwood in an early Brutalist design by Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946). He rejected classic forms and always included unique embellishments in design. Classic circular motifs to the two side doors surrounded by carved floral decor and two sets of half round carved wood feet compliment the otherwise geometric structure. Produced at his Paris factory firm called La Gentilhommière in the late 1930s.
