This beautiful French Maison Baguès vitrine table was created in the early 1950s with solid foliage shaped gilded bronze structure and a lined black velvet vitrine top. This table will be perfect as a side table in a bedroom, or a large dressing room, for a fine jewelry collection. The bronze foliage feet and structure details provide an imaginative base for the piece. This side table is typical of the Chinese inspired work of Maison Baguès in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The gilded bronze structure has been clean, and has a beautiful patina, while the vitrine part has been fully restored, with the new velvet upholstery inside. A very rare find, found in an amazing vintage condition.
