Art Deco Gueridon Table in Bookmatched Walnut W/ Ebonized Legs & Brass Sabots
-
Description
This beautiful two tier Art Deco Machine Age Gueridon table was realized in France circa 1935. It offers two circular table tops in bookmatched walnut (showcasing the rich natural beauty of the woodgrain) connected by streamlined subtly bowed supports in ebonized walnut capped at their base with beautiful rectilinear brass sabots. With its clean modernist lines and graphic silhouette combined with exquisite materials, this piece embodies French Machine Age design at its very best. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. The table has been newly restored to mint condition.
