DENIS CASTAING CERAMIC TABLE LAMP
A ceramic table lamp by French ceramic artist Denis Castaing. Perfect original condition. Rewired for USA. Takes any size bulb or LED. Denis Castaing lives and works in Burgundy, in Saint-Mesmin. He has devoted himself to ceramics since 2013 after having trained at EMA Cnifop. He notably participated in the International Biennial of Ceramics in Vallauris (2016), at the Réalités nouvelles (2016), Révélations (2017) and Céramique 14 (2014 and 2015) fairs. His creations were also exhibited at the international Form fair (Miami / 2017), as part of Ceramic Event (Brussels / 2015 and 2017) and Modern Ceramics (Brussels – 2019). In 2018, the Nevers Earthenware Museum dedicated a personal exhibition to him.

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago. From a longstanding interest in art and design, frequent buying trips to France and Italy have influenced the direction of the gallery to offer items that are not easily sourced in Chicago and United States. Postwar design has been the focus for 18 yrs and we also look forward to new design that crosses boundaries and dialogues as well to the past
