  • Description
    Some notes about the author Max Ingrand: a famous French master glass worker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte for one decade, starting from 1954. During that time, he came up with true design classics. Having studied at the school of Fine Arts in Paris, he specialised in the decorative Arts, under the guidance of major artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He produced a great number of stained glass panels for religious buildings, hotels and public places, and was awarded the French Legion of Honour.
    Here we have a pair of wall sconces with brass frame, front diffuser made of curved frosted and satin-finished crystal and back diffuser made of colored, curved and frosted crystal, designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in 50s.
    Good condition, fully original.
    We recommend a wooden crate for shipping to prevent glass damage.
    Light system can be rewired to US standards upon request.
