Modernist Articulating Seven Shade Honey Comb Chandelier in Brass & Black Enamel
-
Description
This bold geometric fixture originates from the United States during the latter, half of the 20th century. featuring a black enamel frame of hexagonal elements, linearly oriented that house, round articulating illuminated elements, capped with frosted glass shades. The shades are surrounded by bands of patinated brass that are subtly revealed when angled, yet concealed when oriented directly downwards. The piece is suspended with three cables that can be adjusted for dynamic placement of the canopy. The canopy itself is a highly geometric, an angular hexagonal form mirroring the geometry of the fixture. This piece maintains a bold presence, while seeming to defy gravity with its clever suspension mechanism and linear design. Newly rewired to American standards, and height can be adjusted to suit. In excellent vintage condition.
