Rare 17th Century Italian Venetian Veneer Walnut Antique Nightstand

Description
Rare and fine quality Italian Venetian 1680 antique nightstand in walnut veneer. The veneering of the wood is very thick as was used in ancient times. Particular wavy shape on the front typical of Venetian furniture. It might appear to have drawers but it is an illusory effect because it has a door and a practical internal compartment with a shelf. The handles on the front in chiseled bronze with a man's head are truly spectacular (see photo details). A bedside table which, due to its large size, can embellish any room in the house. The internal lining paper can be replaced.
