Description
"Eternal Return 2" in the "Hikaru" collection -- Japanese for Radiance and Light is inspired by the stillness of white on white conveying the essence of simplicity and minimalism. It is an original encaustic painting by San Diego Artist Shima Shanti. Layers of purified beeswax mixed with all-natural earth pigments and a fir-tree sap called damar resin are painted on Russian Baltic birch panel then fused with the flame of a torch. It is an original one-of-a-kind encaustic derived from the artist's own observation and imagination.
