Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Male Laborer Titled "Le Travail" After Antoine Bofill, late 19th/early 20th
The large and impressive muscular young blacksmith modeled in a standing pose, at rest beside a tree stump and anvil, with crossed legs, shirtless and in bare feet, holding two forging tools in his hands, inscribed Bofill and with an impressed circular mark at the rear with LU 22.
Height 31 3/4 inches.
