8 Volumes. Alexandre Dumas, Celebrated Crimes. Bound in 3/4 blue morocco and linen boards bordered in gilt-tooling. The spines display raised bands, bordering, label lettering, and panel details, all gilt-tooled. The top edges are gilded with marbled endpapers. Translated by I.G. Burnham and illustrated with photogravures after original drawings by De Los Rios, Prudhomme, Wagrez, etc. Published by H.S. Nichols in London, 1899.
