Description
A set of eight French Louis XIII style os de mouton dining room side chairs from the 19th century with tapestry upholstery and nailhead trim. Born in France during the 19th century, this set of dining room chairs presents the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XIII era. Each chair features a slanted back connected to a seat supported by an 'os de mouton' base with four scrolling legs connected to one another through a cross stretcher of similar style. The chairs are all upholstered with a lovely floral tapestry accented with nailheads. With their elegant Louis XIII lines and nice patina, this set of eight 19th century French side chairs will bring a touch of tradition to any dining room. Each seat is 16.75" deep.
