All edges gilt with gilt-tooled dentelles and marbled endpapers. This edition, printed on Japanese vellum paper, is limited to 1000 numbered and registered sets of which this is no. 244. Some titles include The Civil War, The Revolution, The Louisiana Purchase, and Rise of the New South. Includes colored illustrations. Published by George Barrie & Sons in Philadelphia, 1903.
