Description
A 19th century French silver leaf wall mirror. Bands of dull burnished silver sit neatly either side of the bright silver leaf raised centre moulding with an inner border of natural cream gesso. The silver leaf has faded a little over the past century revealing the pale pinky red base coat beneath creating a pleasing contrast of colours. Superb original mirror plate with virtually no foxing.
