Description
George I silver rat-tail Mote Spoon C.1725. The plain tapering handle with diamond point finial, elongated bowl and rattail. The bowl symmetrically pierced with stylized scrolling foliage. Maker's mark AR, possibly Abraham Robert (Ref: Grimwade p 18-19 No 86). Length: 6.375 inches. Item weight: 8.83 grams. Condition: Good. Piercing very nice, reflections from photography only. Original patina.
