A charming, very readable set in the original bindings.
Sixth edition; 10 vols, 8vo (176 x 118 mm); monochrome illustrations with tissue-guards, publisher's printed Ex Libris to each upper paste-down (still blank), general age-toning, more so to tissue-guards, occasional light spotting to some margins of plates, short split to quires at pp 80-81 but holding in vol II, Pride And Prejudice and at pp 72-73 in vol. I; creased fore-margin with short tear to p.31 (not affecting text) to vol. II of Emma; publisher's gilt-decorated cloth, top edge gilt, others untrimmed (as published), lightly toned with minor marks, bumped at extremities but generally, sound and in very good order. -
