Rattan armchair with brass details and rattan fabric cushions by Giusto Puri Purini, Italy 1970.
From 1972 to 1977 Giusto Puri Purini worked within the company of the Italian design brand "Vivai Del Sud", creating works and furnishing accessories made of rattan.
He subsequently dedicated himself to architecture, founding the Puri Purini studio in 1978, with which he managed to bring the image of Italian design to the world.
He brought the Farnesina palace back to life, one of his most renowned works, the current foreign minister. He also worked abroad transforming prestigious buildings and creating new works in Saudi Arabia, India, Northern Europe, even designing the Italian pavilion for the Cultural Olympics in Los Angeles. His work was in great demand during the 1980s, including for important interior projects including the design of Roman nightclubs. - More Information
